The creators of South Park had some choice words for the US government ahead of the release of Season 27's second episode.
The next instalment will be blasted on TV screens later today (6 August) and Donald Trump has once again provided a large degree of inspiration for the script.
And if the teaser for it is anything to go by, it's set to seriously ruffle some feathers in the White House - as Trey Parker and Matt Stone really haven't held back.
But the ongoing feud between the animators and the Trump administration has just taken quite the unexpected turn...as it seems the powers-that-be are now taking an 'if you can't beat 'em, join 'em' approach.

The masterminds behind South Park aren't enthused by this, though, and have since issued a hilarious response on social media, suggesting that the top brass should 'eat a bag of d**ks'.
Anyway, tonight's episode is titled 'Got a Nut' and it is set to centre around Mr Mackay losing his job and 'desperately' searching for a new way to make a living.

He seemingly signs up to become an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer, with a teaser showing him standing next to the US Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem.
The guidance counsellor is also seen riding around in the back of a van with fellow ICE agents in a teaser clip for the next instalment of South Park.

After getting wind of the contents of the second episode, it appears the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has decided to piggyback off the storyline and use it to promote its recruitment drive for ICE officers.
Sharing an image from the cartoon, which depicts masked agents driving along a road in a fleet of government vehicles, the DHS shared a link to 'JOIN.ICE.GOV' on X.
It's a drastic change of tune from last week, when White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers let rip at Parker and Stone for poking fun at the US President in the first episode.
The comedic pair joked about the size of Trump's penis, his controversial trade tariffs and showed him rolling around the sheets with Satan in the episode titled 'Sermon on the Mount'.

In response, Rogers shared a scathing statement where she branded South Park's creators 'desperate', while saying the show was 'hanging on by a thread'.
"The Left’s hypocrisy truly has no end - for years they have come after South Park for what they labelled as ‘offensive’ content, but suddenly they are praising the show," the White House Assistant Press Secretary said.
"Just like the creators of South Park, the Left has no authentic or original content, which is why their popularity continues to hit record lows.

"This show hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention.
"President Trump has delivered on more promises in just six months than any other president in our country’s history - and no fourth-rate show can derail President Trump’s hot streak."
So, given that the government think South Park is long past its sell-by date, Parker and Stone were very surprised to see the DHS using a still from their show to encourage people to apply for a job with ICE.

The official X account for the long-running comedy series quote-tweeted the DHS' post and asked: "Wait, so we ARE relevant? #eatabagofd**ks."

Bizarrely, the DHS then shared a statement with Newsweek thanking South Park for aiding its recruitment drive.
It said: "We want to thank South Park for drawing attention to ICE law enforcement recruitment.
"We are calling on patriotic Americans to help us remove murderers, gang members, pedophiles, and other violent criminals from our country.
"Benefits available to new ICE recruits include an up to $50,000 signing bonus, student loan forgiveness, and retirement benefits."
Elsewhere in the second episode, viewers will see Trump reunite with his devilish 'lover' - as a cartoon version of the President is seen stroking the leg of Satan under the table at a swanky dinner.
