A friend of Tom Read Wilson has set the record straight on his unique accent after he's been accused of faking it.
The Celebs Go Dating receptionist and client coordinator was one of the late arrivals into the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! jungle alongside Vogue Williams, and he's already made a mark on viewers at home for one thing.
Which is, of course, his extremely well-spoken accent.

Even the most casual viewer has picked up on the fact that Wilson makes sure to pronounce his words eloquently, leading to many people questioning whether or not it's actually his real voice.
"I'm convinced his accent is fake," wrote one person on Reddit, while a second penned: "Nobody speaks fully like that."

Is that Tom Read Wilson's real accent?
The topic of Tom's accent has since been addressed by friend and Celebs Go Dating co-star Anna Williamson, who has revealed that Wilson is not putting on a fake accent.

"It's probably the most common question everybody says, does he really talk like that," she said during a recent appearance on Lorraine.
"I can now clarify, absolutely, Tom Read Wilson speaks like that," she continued, explaining that Wilson is a 'trained actor' thanks to his background in musical theatre.
"That is not an act!"
Praising the 39-year-old as a 'wonderful, wonderful' guy, she added: "Tom is our life coach, Tom is one of the most stoic, most sage... he's a wonderful, wonderful guy.

"Honestly, I hate the phrase what you see is what you get, but he's the kindest guy, in this industry as well, to meet someone that is so unapologetically himself, he is so kind, everyone loves Tom."
Question marks around Wilson's accent aren't new, as the TV personality is well known for being able to master pretty much any British dialect.
From recreating the Essex accent on Celebs Go Dating or sharing his best Glaswegian drawl on social media, Wilson isn't shy when it comes to showcasing his love for spoken language.
He was even able to convincingly able recreate rapper Aitch's voice during a recent episode, after being tasked to say 'pepperoni pizza, jalapenos and two curry sauce' in a Mancunian accent by his campmates. Watch the moment below:
"Crazy how he turned from a dictionary to a lad from Manchester," one person said in response to the moment.
"He said he loves language and the musicality of it, a part of that is dialect which is why he was able to impersonate aitch so well," added a second.
