It's official: the Faithfuls have won season three of The Traitors after voting out Traitor Charlotte in the final round table.

The whopping £94,600 prize pot was split between Jake and Leanne, who were the last contestants standing after brutally banishing the final Traitor and two fellow Faithfuls.

The major twist of season three’s final two episodes was The Seer role given to Francesca.

Francesca, by luck or intuition, called Charlotte, finding out that she was a traitor. This allowed her to convince Jake, Leanne, and Alexander to vote out Charlotte.

Later, Jake and Leanne then voted out Alexander and Francesca at the last minute to win.

Jake and Leanne split the prize pot of £94,600 and, though they will not yet have received the money eight months on from filming the series, they will soon receive their whopping split.

Following the banishment of Charlotte, all four Faithful were brought to an ‘endgame’ in the front porch of the castle.

This saw Leanne first choosing to banish again despite the fact that, without them realising, all four remaining in the games were not Traitors.

She was followed by the other three, who all agreed to banish again.

The Faithfuls then decided once again to banish another player, ultimately deciding to banish Francesca.

This year’s finale caps off an outstanding year for The Traitors. Averaging well over nine million viewers, there has already been a fourth season of the show commissioned and set to be filmed.

The series began with three women as Traitors – Minah, Armani, and Linda. Though everyone loved Linda and Armani’s hopeless Traitor play, the two of them were both found out by the Faithful.

Minah, meanwhile, recruited Charlotte, who successfully threw her under the bus to solidify her own position.

Later, Charlotte herself recruited Freddie, who she also threw under the bus.

Despite this, it was Leanne and Jake who came out on top and will walk home with £47,300 each.

Fans online were fuming that Charlotte, Alexander, and Francesca were kicked out in the final episode.

One tweeted about Alexander: "Our hero has been robbed. He has been through hell and back!! Greatest man to ever walk that castle. Someone start a GoFund me for his brother please."

Another posted a furious gif, saying: "Frankie gave you a traitor on a plate and you all betrayed her."

One fan tweeted: "I HOPE LEANNE HAS TO PAY TAXES AND HAS A BAD INTEREST RATE ON THAT PRIZE FUND.

"HOW DARE YOU DO ALEXANDER AND FRANKIE LIKE THAT. HOW DARE YOU."

Another said: "alexander gone…. this years faithfuls were godawful, i somehow hope you ALL lose. give claudia the money!!!!"
