Fiona from The Traitors was the second Traitor to be booted from the castle in this year’s season after a tense showdown with fellow non-Faithful Rachel.
Fiona was the first ‘Secret Traitor’ in the history of the BBC show after having been revealed to be the person picked to wear the red robes operating above the initial trio of Hugo, Rachel, and Stephen.
The Welsh contestant ended up getting into a public spat with Rachel not long after over her claim that Faithful Amanda entrusted a secret to her before being banished, leading the pair to accuse one another of being Traitors.

Of course, the odds worked in Rachel's favour and Fiona was ultimately discovered as a Traitor and banished from the castle.
Fiona has now spoken out about the public showdown, revealing that she doesn’t agree with the viral discussion accusing her of ‘breaking the Traitor’s oath’ by turning on Rachel.
Speaking exclusively to LADbible, Fiona actually stated that she was ‘90 percent sure’ that Rachel was telling the truth about Amanda trusting her with the secret that she was a police detective.

She added, however, that the 10 percent left over made her think she was about to be thrown under the bus, saying: “I hadn’t heard her defend Stephen on two occasions, so I just thought 'well if she hasn’t defended Stephen she’s most definitely not going to defend me'.

“At some point I knew I was going to be thrown under the bus because she’s played this game magnificently.”
On following the 10 percent of herself unsure of whether Rachel was telling the truth in her surprise Amanda admission, she said she was thinking ‘is she just cementing herself as a faithful, as a traitor should do’, questioning whether the next step was to throw her ‘under the bus’.
She said: “I followed [Rachel into the kitchen after their argument] two or three minutes later when they all were aware of the altercation and Rachel said [what had happened].
“So I thought, at this stage, ‘I've got to run with this’ and I knew instinctively that they would all believe Rachel over me.

“My spectacular plan spectacularly backfired and I was promptly shown the door!”
Fiona’s turn on Rachel, accusing her of being a Traitor in the kitchen, had fans questioning if she had broken the Traitor’s oath promising to keep the identity of fellow deceivers’ identities secret.
Whilst they’re allowed to accuse each other at the roundtable, many online questioned whether her actions had crossed this – but Fiona isn’t convinced.

She said: “I don't think I did because I had to run with what had been said. Because we did have a one-to-one in the library, it wasn't me that went into the kitchen and just… you know I was put in a position where I had to just say it then and run with it.

“I can understand how people perhaps are making judgements. I fully understand that.
“But it was one of those things, I was in a catch 22, between the devil and the deep blue sea. I was going to make the wrong decision at that point in the kitchen whatever I did.”
Fiona may have ended up losing out and being banished that night, but she birthed one of the new iconic TV moments and surely that’s better than £100,000… right?
The Traitors returns tonight, January 15, on BBC One at 8pm.
