You can now officially start organising your agenda for Christmas Day, as broadcasters have dropped their schedules for the 25 December.
As much as we love seeing our family and friends, the telly at Christmas time is often unmatched, and we've all been eagerly waiting to hear what films and TV we can expect to see over the winter period, alongside some mulled wine and mince pies.
Last year was a superb day, as millions tuned in to watch Smithy finally marry Nessa in the final ever episode of Gavin and Stacey, while we also witnessed the return of Feathers McGraw in Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl.
Although it might seem like a tough ask to try and fit in all the Christmas specials and classic films in the same day, especially when you're probably still in a food coma from the turkey and pigs in blankets, the joys of catch-up mean that there will be plenty to watch while you recover on Boxing Day as well.

You can also be sure to see favourites like Home Alone and Elf on your television, no doubt sandwiched between all eight of the Harry Potter films, so you certainly won't be short on things to watch this Christmas.
Personally, I'll be taking in a bit of Indiana Jones after lunch and probably settling down for the evening with Call the Midwife because my mum, like every other mum, absolutely loves it.
