Viewers are mightily impressed with Kanye West's new Netflix documentary, which sees him early on in his career attempting to break into the music industry. You can watch the trailer here:

In the show, jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy - which is said to have been filmed over a 21 year period - we see the rapper before becoming the global artist he is today.

Viewers can see the now 44-year-old as he attempts to get himself signed and even strolls around the Roc-A-Fella Records HQ in a bid to find someone that will play his music.

The first part of the trilogy landed on the streaming service yesterday (16 February) and people have already commented on how inspirational it is.

One wrote: "Damn that Kanye doc is so gadamn inspirational s*** was crazy," while another added: "New Kanye doc is so inspirational."

A third said: "The Kanye doc is so inspiring. Man is/was a visionary. Believe in yourself and go after your desires w/ intent."

Slamming the people working for record labels, another fan wrote: "That Kanye doc showing you SOME of them people in them label offices don’t know jack s*** and ride waves once it’s poppin."

Others were quick to comment on the relationship he had with his mum, Donda West who passed away in November 2007.

One said: "Seeing Donda talk to Kanye makes me sad because she was so supportive of him and encouraged him when he was starting."

Another shared: "Still wanna know how y'all can say Donda was trash and that album was dedicated to his mother.

Netflix

"From the doc, you can clearly tell she was his biggest fan. She spoke life into Kanye and his drive.

"Kanye pushed himself to be the best, and though social media wise, he may come off as manic... don’t ever disrespect his craft. That man is nothing short of a GENIUS."

A third explained: "I’ve always felt that Kanye became lost when Donda passed. Watching the scenes where she speaks confidence into him... it’s so beautiful. She saw the vision with him and the way she moved with love for him.

Netflix

"That was his biggest cheerleader yet spoke truth to him without diminishing his confidence. I can't imagine losing the one person that is rooting for you without cruel intentions. He never received this type of love again. This explains so much of him now."

You can watch the first part of jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy on Netflix now. The second part lands on Wednesday 23 February.
