Kanye West has said God will help him get back together with estranged wife Kim Kardashian during a speech on Thanksgiving Eve yesterday (24 November).
The rapper, who has changed his legal name to ‘Ye’, gave the speech at the Los Angeles Mission’s Annual Thanksgiving event.
As reported by Page Six, West said: “Kimye created a narrative that’s not the narrative that God wants.”
The Yeezy creator continued: “The narrative God wants is to see that we can be redeemed in all these relationships.

“We’ve made mistakes. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve publicly done things that were not acceptable as a husband, but right now today, for whatever reason - I didn’t know I was going to be in front of this mic - but I’m here to change the narrative."
West, who has been known to pull some very public stunts in his time, may be referring here to the time he asked the queen mother of the Kardashian family Kris Jenner if she’d like to 'go to war' in a tweet.
Today is set to be the first Thanksgiving the Donda rapper spends separated from Kim, who filed for divorce in February this year.
It may not be an easy day for West, who directly expressed his desire to be with his family during his speech.

The rapper said: "I’m trying to express this way in the most sane way possible, the most calm way possible, but I need to be back at home.”
Kanye then explained why he believes God will intervene in his current separation.
He said: “If the enemy can separate Kimye, there’s going to be millions of families that feel like separation is OK.
"But when God brings Kimye together, there’s gonna be millions of families that are going to be influenced and see that they can overcome the work of the separation, of trauma the devil has used to capitalize to keep people in misery while people step over homeless people to go to the Gucci store."
This speech adds to a series of comments where Ye has publicly expressed his desire to save his marriage.

The father of four recently stated on the Drink Champs podcast: "SNL making my wife say 'I divorced him' on TV because they just wanted to get that bar off, and I ain't never even seen the papers.
"We're not even divorced.
"That ain't no joke to me. My kids want their parents to stay together.
"I want us to be together."
