A woman who looks remarkably like Cardi B's has responded to viral comparisons of the pair:
A New York woman named Ashley went viral this month after her stylist posted a video on TikTok of her rocking a new hairdo that makes her look almost uncannily similar to Cardi, whilst the rapper's hit single 'Up' plays in the background.

"6" frontal wig install with soft layers & curls :heart_eyes:" the video was captioned on Instagram. "My client is @iamcardib twin lol."
It wasn't long before the video caught the attention of Cardi B fans on Twitter, who decided she was the spitting image of the 'WAP' singer and playfully nicknamed her 'Cardi C'.
Wearing a white tank and jeans, Ashley can be seen in the TikTok clip shaking her freshly tousled tresses around, clearly quite pleased with her new look, but claims that any resemblance to her famous lookalike is purely coincecental.
Speaking to Allure, Ashley claimed that she's been compared to Cardi ever since 2015, when the rapper made her first appearance on reality TV show Love & Hip Hop: New York.

The woman recalled going into a lounge that year and being told she looked a lot like the Bronx native by the doorman. She says the comparisons have continued ever since, but doesn't understand why.
"Everywhere I go, [I hear] 'she looks like Cardi B'. They'll say it under their breath, and I'll hear it," she told the magazine. "I literally try to look every time somebody says it, but I don't see it."
But while Ashley may not see the resemblance plenty of other people do, and it wasn't long before the video was reposted on Twitter where it caused a storm.

Another popular post claimed that the two of them MUST be twins.

Though Ashley herself claims not to see the resemblance there are certainly worse people to be compared to than Cardi. It doesn't look like Cardi B has seen the video yet, but we can only imagine what the superstar would think after seeing a fellow New Yorker that looks like her.
