Wetherspoon has recently shaken up its menu, adding a whopping 14 new items to the already extensive list of food and drink over all its pubs nationwide.

The pub chain has taken a few hints and tips from the colonel himself it seems, giving KFC fans the chance to order four new boneless chicken meals in the pub venues.

The first dish includes a mix of three southern-fried chicken strips and five chicken breast bites, with the individual dishes having already been popularised on their previous Small Plates combo deal.

And if punters are in the mood for sharing, you can order a basket of five southern-fried chicken strips or ten chicken breast bites.

Veggies aren’t excluded from the tasty new takeaway-style range - there’s a basket of eight Quorn ‘no chicken’ nuggets which are now available on the menu, too.

Whichever chicken (or ‘no chicken’) dish pub-goers choose, they’ll all be served with your choice of BBQ, sweet chilli, JD honey glaze or sticky soy sauce, as well as either coleslaw, chips or rice.

Elsewhere on the menu, a new char-grilled chicken dish with chicken gravy has cropped up and will come with mashed potato, chips or a jacket potato.

The Wetherspoon's Curry Club will also see the addition of chicken korma, sweet potato curry and a chicken vindaloo.

And if that’s not enough to get taste buds tingling, there’s also an onion bhaji and vegetable samosa to pick from.

Steak Club fanatics will also see both a five and ten-ounce gammon steak up for grabs, which is served with an egg, peas, a mushroom, half a tomato and your pick from chips or a jacket potato.

Finally, early risers can start their day right with their choice of fruit salad or a small pancakes dish (but we wouldn’t judge if you ordered both!).

Both new breakfast dishes can also be ordered as desserts.
