McDonald’s is launching a special first-ever with an incredible new menu next week.
Yeah, yeah, ‘new year, new you’ and all that but despite whatever resolutions you’re setting yourself or social media trend of cutting things out you’ve decided to follow, you’ll still want a treat this January.
And Maccies is offering up some rather unique treats as it embraces the secret menu hacks so many of us have been loving for years.
Only now, we won’t have to place random orders to make up the items as McDonald’s are turning them into actual legit burgers, desserts and drinks.

Plus, as well as this special ‘secret menu’, the fast food chain are bringing back the popular Chicken Big Mac, The Big Arch, The Fajita Chicken Wrap, Chilli Cheese Bites and the Galaxy Smooth Caramel McFlurry.

But surely you’re going to want to try the new menu items first before scranning those favourites, right?
Well, first up there’s the Chicken Cheeseburger. And no, I don’t just mean a regular McChicken with some cheese on. I’m talking an actual combo of a beef patty topped with a coated chicken patty, then layered with a slice of cheese, onions, mustard and ketchup.
That’ll set you back £3.89 on its own, as reported by Metro.
And if you don’t fancy combining the beef with chicken, there’s the Surf N’ Turf burger that ties in the Filet-O-Fish.
Featuring two beef patties, there’s also a crispy white Alaskan Pollock fish fillet patty in the bun with cheese, onions, pickles, mustard and ketchup. Priced at £4.39 on its own, it’s certainly a unique burger, that’s for sure.

On the sweeter side, McDonald’s has combined two classics with the Apple Pie Mini McFlurry. Priced at £2.99, you’ll get a mini pot of the soft ice cream swirled with caramel sauce and then paired with a warm Apple Pie, perfect for dunking.
Or, another viral favourite from social media, there is the Espresso Milkshake.
Served side by side, £3.69 gets you a vanilla milkshake with a shot of espresso so you can pour as much of the coffee as you like to give the classic that caffeine hit.
While it’s not quite a secret menu item, Maccies are also introducing the iconic Big Mac sauce in a dipping pot for 20p. Game changing.
The new McDonald’s menu will be available for a limited time only from 5 January in UK and Ireland stores. Are you brave enough to try that? I’m still sceptical of the fish and beef burger I can’t lie…
