Wordle users have said, “fear has left their body” after continuing their streak with today’s word on Friday 4th March.
Players of the viral daily word game, which was recently taken over by The New York Times, have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on Wordle 258 - and they’re pretty chuffed with themselves.

One social media mogul, who calls themselves ‘The Maestro’ on the app, wrote: “fear has left my body, I live in a world of Yes and none of u b*****s can take it from me [sic]”.
Another revelled in their success at guessing today’s word, which was “AHEAD”, and penned: “Sometimes my genius is almost frightening”.

“Streak continues,” said Christina on Twitter.
“Got the wordle in 2 guesses I’m a menace [sic],” said another who was pleased with their result.
Meanwhile, one user said: “This one messed with my head a little,” even though they did guess the word in four tries.
A different user, however, noted how similar Wordle is to another popular word game.
“Guys… it’s only just hit me… Wordle is just Hangman…”, they wrote.

The latest Wordle reaction comes as the game was recently taken over by The New York Times after the original creator, Josh Wardle, sold the game for a currently unknown seven-figure amount.
The aim of the word game is to try and guess a five-letter word in under six tries.
