Brit booked cheapest available flights over four days to see where he'd end up

The flights were a lot cheaper than you'd think

A YouTuber decided to travel to four countries in four days using the cheapest available flights, with no idea where he'd end up. Sounds like fun.

British content creator Ben Morris went on a trip of a lifetime to Europe in 2022, under the premise that he travels on the least expensive flights possible back-to-back-to-back.

To make it fair, he got his flatmate to go on Skyscanner and book all the flights for him.

"I only know the first destination and the rest of them, I'm gonna find out at the same time that you guys do," he said in his video which has three million views.

During his first trip, Morris went to Poland for just £10 with the aim of trying the national dish (dumplings called pierogi) and the national drink (vodka).

However, at that moment in time, it was the 2022 World Cup and Poland were playing in the first match.

If Poland won, he was going to book himself into a nice hotel, and then if they lose, he would stay in a cheap hotel.

Well, Poland drew 0-0 against Mexico and he decided to stay at a £3 hostel with 'a good rating'.

Throughout his trip, where it was 2°C, Morris also visited the museum which he highly recommended.

Rome, Italy - £18 flight from Wrocław

Thankfully, it seemed Rome was a lot warmer as Morris said: "Highly recommend going to the Coliseum.

"You kind of have to, if you go to Rome, we only have about two hours of daylight left.

"I'm gonna hop on a Lime bike and head to Vatican City."

The YouTuber also went and saw the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain during his stay.

"The national drink of Italy is Campari, and I've got a Campari spritz. I don't know if that's cheating," he added.

"And for food, I've ordered of Ragu bolognese, which is the traditional dish of Italy. I'm pretty sure it's just bolognese.

"Any Italians out there are gonna kill me for saying that."

Paphos, Cyprus - £16 flight from Rome

After arriving on his 6am flight from Rome, he set out to sample the national dish of Cyprus, which is Fasolada, a bean and vegetable soup.

A lot of walking was involved in this trip, and he eventually gave up and got souvlaki instead.

As for the national drink, Zivania, it's a strong colourless spirit made from grape pomace and dry wines, and is sometimes referred to as 'firewater' because of its high alcohol content.

It did not disappoint.

Tel Aviv, Israel - £58 from Paphos

"So the flight isn't actually that cheap. It's £58, and it's only an hour away. The whole point of the challenge is to just get the cheapest flight to wherever it's going," he said.

After visiting a couple of restaurants and befriending a couple, Morris opted to call it a day.

"What an insane week this has been," he concluded.
