Joel Dommett Does The Impossible And Manages To Shut Piers Morgan Up

If you watched I'm A Celebrity this year, you'll know that Joel Dommett was the comic relief. He's actually much funnier than I thought he was that one time he came to my students' union. Well done to him.

Anyway, he may not have won the show, but he's achieved something much greater. He managed to shut up professional-rent-a-gob Piers Morgan.

So, as you can see from the clip above, Piers goes to close the interview on ITV's Good Morning Britain by saying: "Well, Joel, look congratulations on, well I wouldn't say that because coming second, you're still a loser, unfortunately, we can't... we don't on this show salute people that lose..."

He continued rubbing salt in the wound by saying: "We say, good effort, sorry you lost and good luck because your career's going to go from strength to strength."

But Joel wasn't having it. He's a comedian for fuck's sake. So, he replied: "It's okay, I prefer Jeremy Clarkson."

Piers then looks flustered and quickly tells the camera to get him off. For a bit of context, Piers and Jeremy Clarkson have a very tense relationship. So much so that Clarkson actually punched him in the face at the British Press Awards in 2004.

Well, that's definitely one way to rattle Piers.
