If you thought blind box culture couldn’t get any bigger, 7-Eleven Australia just took it to another level.

To celebrate the launch of its new Japanese-inspired food range, 7-Eleven Australia has launched a first of its kind Konbini Series. Nicknamed, Konteenies, they are tiny snack accessories designed to sit neatly alongside collectables that you already own, whether that’s a desk display, bookshelf lineup or carefully curated blind box army collection.

The drop is made up of 1–2cm mini versions of Japanese convenience store favourites. So yes, they’re small. Very small. There’s Onigiri, Sushi, Gyoza, a Japanese Egg Salad Roll and Iced Coffee. There’s also a secret item, though you’ll have to get collecting to discover what it is (and just think of the bragging rights).

The limited-edition Kombini collectables are available nationwide at select 7-Eleven Australia stores, so these minis won’t be around for long.

Blind boxes, bag charms and tiny desk figurines have become a regular “little treat” purchase for many shoppers, with drops often selling out quickly. The Konbini series taps into that demand, adding miniature food accessories to a category that’s already booming.

The launch ties in with 7-Eleven Australia’s broader Japanese-inspired range now available in stores, bringing some of Japan’s most recognisable snacks to local shelves.

If you’re keen to get your hands on a Konteenie, head to @7elevenaus on Instagram or TikTok to find out how to secure yours.
