Prime Big Deal Days tends to be a warm-up to Black Friday which happens in November, so it won't be your last chance to make savings on Christmas shopping, but it's worth getting in there early as there are some impressive savings.

Is Prime Big Deal Days only for Prime members?

The October Prime Day is designed to be a members-only shopping event, meaning you’ll need to have an active Amazon Prime membership to unlock the discounts available during the sale.

There are a few additional perks that come with membership, too.
