Martin Lewis is everyone's go to when it comes to saving on your broadband, energy, or mobile phone bills. But he and his team are also here to save on the more fun things in life.

We're on about a free pint, cocktail or glass of wine.

Because if there's money to be saved, the Money Saving Expert lot are here to make sure we don't unnecessarily spend pennies.

And with the price of a hard drink nowadays, you'd be a fool not to take advantage.

Even after a busy Bank Holiday where we're sure the pub was the focus for many of you, it's almost time to get back in there for another (responsible) beverage.

But you'll have to be fast to claim it, with just 6,000 free drinks issued every week by the more than 400 pubs behind the offer.

You'll also only be able to take advantage on specific days and for a two hour window.

The key to claiming the bev is having the O2 Priority app, which millions of Brits do through their network provider.

And there's three specific chains of pubs that are signed up to the deal: O'Neill's, Ember Inns and Sizzling.

One of the Lewis' MSE experts said: "I went along to a Sizzling pub with a friend and I was able to claim a code through Priority for one free drink (luckily my mate was able to do the same).

"The offer's also available at O'Neill's and Ember Inns pubs in England and Wales, on Thursdays from 5pm to 7pm."

You can only download the O2 Priority app if you're a paying O2 customer.

And the variety of drink you can get is massive, with the price differences meaning this could be a drink worth almost a tenner.

Obviously it'll come down to personal choice, with the options a real good mix.

And for those who don't drink or don't want to drink on this occasion, you can still take advantage of the freebie with a soft drink.

Drinks included in the O2 Priority app deal include:

  • Cocktails: Aperol Spritz, Long Island Iced Tea or Sex on the Beach – worth £8.95 to £9.50
  • Wine, 175ml: House Pinot Grigio, Barefoot White Zinfandel or Gallo Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon – worth £4 to £7
  • Draught cider, pint: Magners or Strongbow – worth £5.95 to £6.50
  • Draught lager and stout, pint: Carling, Tennent, Guinness – worth £4 to £7
  • Bottled beer, 300ml: Daura Damm – worth £6
  • Bottled soft drinks, 275ml - 300ml: Diet Coke, Coca-Cola, J2O Apple & Mango or J2O Orange and Passionfruit – worth £4.15 to £4.35
