The McSpicy is back.
McDonald’s

7 February marked the return of the McSpicy - a chicken breast patty covered in a crispy coating, jalapenos, Frank's Red Hot Mayo, lettuce, Emmental cheese and onions, all wrapped in a toasted sesame seed bun.

The new collaboration with Frank’s RedHot has made it Maccies' spiciest ever burger - and fans can't get enough of it.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), one fan commented: "McSpicy x Frank's Red Hot is the best thing McDonald's has ever done."

"@McDonaldsIRL Really loved the new McSpicy with Frank's redhot sauce," a second added.

"While I know it's a promotion, recommend keeping it on the menu for spice lovers."

"McSpicy with Frank’s Hot Sauce is unreal," a third said.

While there have been calls to make it a permanent menu fixture, McDonald's described the collaboration as an opportunity to 'build on an already iconic product'.

The collab has been a hit with McDonalds customers.

Thomas O’Neil, Head of Menu at McDonald’s UK and Ireland, said: “We know how much our customers love spice, and were blown away by the reaction to the McSpicy since it first launched as a limited-edition back in July 2021, growing to a permanent resident on our main menu.

“This collaboration with Frank’s RedHot gave us such an exciting opportunity to build on an already iconic product and create something genuinely spicy but also delicious that we know both McDonald’s and Frank’s RedHot customers will love.

“We’re really looking forward to seeing the reaction.”

You can get your hands on the new McSpicy x Frank’s RedHot for £5.59 for just the burger and £7.29 for a meal.

The new McSpicy is available in all UK and Irish restaurants at the Drive-Thru, via the My McDonald’s App, and also via McDelivery.
