Imagine a world without Chicken McNuggets... nah I don't really want to either.

The deliciously tasty creation from McDonald's was first introduced in 1983 and the fast-food chain hasn't looked back since.

With three options on the UK menu - six piece, nine piece and the 20-piece share-box - there's even room to add them alongside your meal.

However, in a McDonald's first, it seems that they've reduced the price of the fan-favourite for a limited time only.

At almost 50 percent off, a portion of six will cost just £2.49, nine will be £3.49 and a whopping 20 nuggets will cost only £4.49.

But wait, there's a little catch.

Maccies want you to - wait for it - share.

Joey would truly struggle with this one.

To celebrate the launch of their 'Pre-Nug Agreement' promotion, McDonald's said in a social media post that 'the first official document that contractually binds two people and their McNuggets together forever'.

Friends and family, or whoever you decide to share your McNuggets with, are encouraged to make their 'Pre-Nug' Instagram-official by sharing a social media post, while tagging the UK McDonald's Instagram page.

For people who do so, they have the chance to win 4,000 MyMcDonald’s Rewards points, which is enough for a free portion of six Chicken McNuggets.

The discounted price will be available in-store and on the McDonald's app until 14 April.

Now, it seems April is going to be a busy month for Maccies as it marks the return of some much-loved favourites on the new menu.

A total of seven new items will be dropping on 17 April and Lotus Biscoff fans, it's time to get excited.

Along with a brand new Lotus Biscoff Frappe, there will be a Biscoff McFlurry, featuring crunchy Biscoff crumb swirled onto the soft serve ice cream we know and love.

If savoury is more your thing, say hello to the Cheese and Herb Melts. Blended with mozzarella and Emmental cheese, the delectable snacks are served with a rich tomato dip.

Also returning to the menu is the Chicken Big Mac and the Quarter Pounder Deluxe, which you can make double with an extra patty.

Beware, the menu is limited edition so if you want to try these items it's worth remembering they'll only be around for six weeks.
