McDonald’s fans are already demanding for another breakfast favourite to be revived.

This comes after it was confirmed the legendary Breakfast Wrap will be making a comeback to Maccies menus across the UK.

The fast-food giants announced the return of the popular brekky item earlier this morning (15 January) after petitions from fans to bring it back.

Since the Breakfast Wrap was axed from the McDonald’s menu back in 2020, fans have begged for the revival of their ‘all-star’.

And their ‘best breakfast item’ ever will now reappear for mornings from Wednesday 7 February.

However, the iconic wrap wasn’t the only thing cut from the menu just before the covid pandemic hit.

There was, of course, the breakfast bagels. I mean, who could forget those bagels loaded with egg and cheese, the bacon, egg and cheese and even the steak, egg and cheese?

Back in January 2022, McDonald’s announced they would permanently be getting rid of both the bagels and the Breakfast Wrap.

Fans are desperate for the bagel to come back.

The chain said: “Despite speculation and following a trial separation period, Breakfast Bagels & Breakfast Wraps will not be returning to the menu. We adore each other deeply but our love for the iconic McMuffin was simply too hard to ignore."

But now that it seems that wasn’t totally true for the Wrap, fans are demanding the Breakfast Bagels are brought back too.

Responding to the news of the Breakfast Wrap comeback this morning, McDonald’s lovers wrote on social media: “Just need the bagels then 2024 is complete already.”

One user even demanded: “Bring back the bagels u rats.”

As many slammed: “Ugh should be bagels.”

Plenty wrote: “Just bring the bagel back for goodness’ sake man!”

All wrap, no bagel.

There were a lot of users writing: “Now bring back the breakfast bagels!” As others put: “Stop messing around and bring back the bagels.”

Meanwhile, others said the news of the Breakfast Wrap’s return made today the ‘best day of their life’ as they ‘can’t wait’ to demolish one.

The legendary item is coming back with a bit of a face lift though, as it will feature two round free-range eggs rather than the previous folded ones.

It features the eggs alongside a pork sausage patty, a slice of bacon, a crispy potato rosti and cheese in the tortilla wrap with either brown sauce or tomato ketchup.

The Breakfast Wrap will land in McDonald’s sites across the UK from Wednesday 7 February.
