Thorpe Park visitors are flocking to the ‘best coaster in the country’ as the countdown to Fright Nights® begins.

In case you missed it, the theme park's famous Halloween event is back from October 3, and tickets are set to sell like hotcakes.

Billed as Europe's 'top theme park scare event', it's designed to terrify even the biggest adrenalin junkies, with award-winning live action mazes and rollercoasters open after dark.

Save £30

There are some serious record-breaking attractions on offer too, from the UK's tallest and fastest coaster Hyperia to Colossus, the world's first 10-loop ride.

The best part? You can save up to £30 when you book online (£36 for certain dates, rather than £66 on the gate).

So, if you think you've got what it takes, where can you buy tickets, and how much do they cost? Find out everything you need to know below.

What is Thorpe Park's famous Fright Nights?

For those of you who have never stepped foot in the theme park after dark, listen up.

Thorpe Park's famous Fright Nights is home to scare mazes, horror shows, and record-breaking rides.

The biggest attraction? Hyperia is the tallest and fastest coaster, as it plunges guests 236 ft from the night sky towards the valley below at speeds of over 80 miles per hour.

As though that isn't enough to get your heart pumping, Thorpe Park is also home to the world's first 10-loop rollercoaster, which twists and turns into the darkness.

Whilst SAW - The Ride is the only coaster in the world to pay tribute to the horror movie franchise with Jigsaw's twisted games brought to life for those who dare.

As though that isn't enough to see you race for tickets, the reviews say it all.

"The actors are so good at their job and the attention to detail in each maze is 10/10," one visitor wrote on TripAdvisor. "The two free mazes, Deaths Doors and The Meadows are really good as well, definitely recommend doing those when it's dark."

A second shared, "Amazing rides, amazing mazes (but terrifying!!!), and amazing place over all. One of the best nights of my life at Fright Nights - highly suggest!"

"In October, the Halloween special experiences are incredible and terrifying," another fan added. "My family and I were behind a group of 20-year-old guys and they were all screaming and hiding behind each other, like a bunch of children - which I found very funny."

"The park has been massively improved by Hyperia - I would say it's the best rollercoaster in the UK," a fourth wrote. "Lots of other decent rides in the park too but Hyperia is definitely their standout attraction."
