Man issues major warning after seeing what popped up on airport scanner when he went through with erection
He called it one of the 'most humiliating experiences' of his life
There are all sorts of things that we can't carry through airport security, but for one unfortunate lad there was nothing he could do about his concealed weapon.
Heading through security can be a truly stressful experience as we panic about whether the toothpaste we brought for our trip is below the 100ml mark, although that could soon be a thing of the past in the UK.
Any sort of metal on clothes, watches or shoes is something we need to think about before being ushered through the scanners, which really can see everything, as we all try to desperately avoid any sort of pat down from staff.
It seems as if most blokes are more worried about getting their penis up these days but in this case, a 26-year-old man panicked about it going down as he approached the high-tech scanners at a US airport.

He explained that he was fresh off of saying goodbye to his long-distance girlfriend and an erection caused him all sorts of stress as he went through the security.
Taking to Reddit, the man wrote: "This is not a joke, Im trying to warn other dudes if they are ever in this situation. This happened to me yesterday, Tuesday morning at the Reno-Tahoe security. I had flown to visit my girlfriend and when she dropped me off we were kissing making out you know in her car before I left.
"I had a SLIGHT chub still, dudes know what I mean by this. I was scared, it was going away but too slowly, of course the one time there is no line.
"I put my hands up and did the scanner, I look at the screen, and THERE IS A HUGE RED CIRCLE around my private area. I got pat down once, this is common at airports, I have a subcutaneous defibrillator in my chest but he went to my legs."
The American man explained that a supervisor was then brought over and 'pat him down again'.
He added: "I said lowly 'I was just with my girl my bad man' and he said you're good to go.
"It was the most humiliating experience I have ever had in my life, I thank God I will never see those guys again (they were good dudes) and pray no cameras were recording me or anything."
Fortunately for the lad, most airports have strict rules when it comes to filming at security so the chances of his embarrassing moment being caught on camera are pretty low.
But graciously he's still warned other guys about the dangers of being with your partner so close to the scanners.
So, the next time you're at the airport, maybe keep your mind off anything sexual unless you want to have something rather embarrassing to declare.
