A man who went on one of the notorious nude cruises shared what happened if a passenger found themselves hot under the non-existent collar.
Now, plenty of people might think that a bunch of people getting naked on a boat is some kind of sexual thing, and the whole ‘spicy cruises’ probably adds to that assumption.
But while there isn’t supposed to be anything sexy or NSFW about these nude cruises, you can’t help but wonder what happens if someone does get aroused.
And luckily, passengers have opened up on their experience on a ‘2,000-person nude cruise’ as one took to Reddit to describe their seven-day-long trip on board the cruise ship.

Bare Necessities Tour and Travel is a Texas-based company which offers these voyages for naturists all over the world, with plenty of rules to follow.

On its website, the travel company makes it pretty clear that the cruise really isn’t for people who are hoping to be ‘getting busy’ on board.
“Social nudity is not a sexual activity, and we strive to dispel the misconception that it is anything but natural and beautiful," it explained.
This year, the Big Nude Boat 2025 was an 11-day trip on the Norwegian Pearl from Miami back in February. It stopped off in the likes of the Bahamas, Dominica, Martinique and St. Lucia.

And to be honest, you’d think they were pretty romantic places, you know, for getting it on.
But the anonymous passenger doubled down on the naturism as he explained the trip was ‘awesome’ and not a ‘swingers’ cruise or a 'sex-positive environment’ but simply just a ‘crowd with lots of nudist experience’.

Look, at the end of the day, we’re all human; it’s hardly unnatural to not feel aroused on occasion.
And a user brought up the obvious: “Maybe not specific to the cruise, but nudism in general... I'm assuming boners just happen, since it happens in everyday clothed life, too. Are they frowned upon or just accepted in this environment?"

Yet the original poster claimed that this ‘almost never happens’.
They explained: “This cruise is very non-sexual, so a man would want to hide it somehow. Non-nudists think about this a lot more than nudists do.”
As another asked again: “What was the rule for boners?", the cruiser doubled down: “As I said above, this is something that non-nudists worry about a lot more than nudists. I’ve been a nudist for ten years, and I’ve almost never seen one.
"Since this cruise is not a sex-positive event, the man would be expected to conceal it."
