Summer is officially here, whether you consider it to be the season when June swings around or after the summer solstice, we've gone past both milestones.

'Tis the season to book holidays and getaways with your mates or loved ones, especially to countries nearby, as many European countries hit ideal weather conditions.

In all fairness, so does the UK, but who wants to stay put when the sun shines brighter elsewhere?

But wanting to book a trip is one thing, and actually deciding on the flights, dates, hotel, and activities is another.

Finding the best deal and location for what you want can cause a headache - but not to fear, as the 'European Nightlife Index' has dropped.

Aimed at those looking to blow off steam in a quick trip across the continent, cities in Europe have now been ranked across a number of categories.

Some of the categories covered in the index by OLBG.com include the cheapest pints, cheapest Airbnbs, most clubs and bars, highest nightlife score, and the safest.

Each person will have their own priorities, but everything will be covered here, so you can be clued up before jetting off on your travels.
