A man who has claimed he's visited every country in world has revealed the ‘worst’ country he went to in Europe.

And spoiler, it’s not the UK – he actually ranked us in at 22.

Drew Binsky is known for his YouTube videos, having spent over a decade travelling across ‘all 197 nations’ around the globe.

He's already revealed the scariest place he visited and talked about his favourite cities, and now, he has compiled a list of his ‘favourite and least favourite nations’ on our continent.

Binsky says he’s visited most countries in Europe more than three times before coming up with this ranking, with the Czech Republic being his favourite.

Before getting to his absolute least favourite country, the spots nearly making the bottom of his list include Luxembourg, Andora, Monaco, Azerbaijan, and San Marino.

But his worst of all? The Vatican City.

As Binsky points out, while you might think this place is a bit of tourist destination, and forget it is an ‘independent country’ within Rome, Italy.

As the world’s smallest city, it was founded officially as in independent nation-state in 1929 and it takes roughly 40 minutes to walk the whole way round.

“They have their own passports, they have their own flag, they have their own currency,” Binsky explains.

The YouTuber does have his praise for the place though, as he says it’s ‘really cool’ and ‘amazing’ as he says the monuments are ‘fascinating’.

Home of the Pope, he adds: “It’s one of the most historical places in the world for Catholicism, for just incredible history.”

But while he calls it ‘spectacular’ and ‘just so beautiful’, Binsky says: “But it’s so small, there’s no hotels there so it’s impossible to stay overnight.”

He claimed that his friend had tried to sleep on the street and ended up getting arrested.

“It’s a place that you just visit for a few hours,” he added, describing the queues to get in as ‘so brutal’.

Justifying it as his least favourite place, Binsky continued: “I just think that the Vatican is great to visit once and then once you see it – it’s like the Grand Canyon, it’s amazing to visit once, I love it, but once you go once, you don’t really have to go again.”

Some users in the comments said they found his ranking ‘surprising’, while some say him not putting France in the top 10 is a ‘tragedy’.

Binsky put the country in number 41 out of 50, and it’s upset plenty of users who reckon he’s judging it too much off of Paris, as ‘France is so vast and has a lot to offer’.
