A woman has told how she has gone from being brokenhearted to booked and busy after completely transforming her look after a breakup.
Lauren Latimer, 25, admitted she ended up 'neglecting' her health while she was loved up - but when she parted ways with her fella in February this year, she decided to put herself first.
Prioritising her wellbeing has ended up paying off big time too, as the dog walker recently managed to catch the attention of a modelling agency.
During her 16-month relationship with her former boyfriend, Lauren said she ended up piling on the pounds while going out for romantic meals and scoffing on takeaways at home.

She'd typically start the day off with a full English, followed by a sandwich, crisps, chocolate and a fizzy drink for lunch - before then chowing down on fast food in the evenings.
Lauren, who stands at 5ft 7in tall, said she ended up avoiding having her picture taken as she became so unhappy with the way she looked.

Explaining how her self-care regimen seriously slipped, she said: "I was neglecting myself unfortunately when I was with him - we would go out for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
"I wasn't mindful of the things I was eating and I was going to bed and not looking after my skincare. Before you know it, you put weight on very quickly."
But after she and her significant other called time on their relationship, the self-employed dog walker decided to use her heartbreak as motivation to overhaul her lifestyle.
In hindsight, she reckons their split is the 'best thing' that ever happened to her, as she has since shed four stone.
"The breakup 100% spurred me on to lose weight and be healthier," Lauren, from County Durham, said. "I would definitely say that every girl has in her head 'I'm going to come back bigger and better' after a break-up'.

"Not in a nasty way, but definitely in the way of, 'You're not going to recognise me again'. I went through a little bit of a heartbreak glow-up.
"My friends tell me I'm absolutely tiny now, but I look amazing for it - everyone is a bit shocked."
After showing off her new appearance on social media, Lauren says she was then approached by a modelling agency who were 'really interested' in working with her.
She's since signed a contract with the firm and has already done a shoot for a clothing brand, while her diary is quickly filling up with other exciting opportunities too - including her catwalk debut in front of hundreds of people.
"It all seems to be happening at the minute," Lauren said of her new career venture. "I feel so much more empowered and so much more confident."

She went on: "There were times where I wouldn't want to get a photo - I would say to people 'don't get me in', I hated my side profile. I hated how I looked.
"There were a lot of things I didn't like about myself, but you can't get me out of the camera now. Hopefully one day I'm on a billboard. I'm hoping that one day that's something where the modelling takes me."
Lauren says she's often informed she looks as though she's had a lot of work done because her face is so 'snatched', however she says she is actually a 'completely natural' beauty.
"For me when I was at my heaviest, the weight seemed to go to my face more," she explained. "It was very, very puffy, You can't spot reduce fat unfortunately but for me, when I've lost the weight, it's come straight off my face.
"I have really high-definition cheekbones and it does just change your face. If people want to comment that [I've had filler] then that's fine - it's a compliment to me."

Reflecting on how far she has come over the last five months, Lauren said she is ultimately 'glad' that she and her former flame called it quits.
And although she's receiving a lot of attention now she's back on the market, she isn't interested in taking up the offers of a date with the men flooding her DMs.
"I'm so committed to myself, my career, focusing on me," Lauren said. "I don't have the time for entertaining men. I'm just investing into myself at the minute, I don't think I could keep up with a relationship."
Sharing some advice for others who might be thinking of embarking on a similar journey following a heartbreak, Lauren added: "Don't rush it - the truth is consistency is key.
"If you're willing to stick to your nutrition and stick to going to the gym, even when you're not seeing a difference....if you keep pushing yourself and if you keep going for it, you will see changes eventually.
"But it doesn't happen overnight."
