Arguably one of the greatest strikers England has ever produced, Wayne Rooney has now set those weight loss drug rumours straight.
Over the summer, the Manchester United and Everton legend impressed the nation with his new look while working as a World Cup pundit for the BBC.
Amid the compliments, Rooney, whose family documentary The Real Rooneys is now streaming on Disney+, endured fat jab questions — as if people can't shift timber by natural means these days.

Putting any whispers to bed this week, the 40-year-old was on This Morning with his wife Coleen Rooney when presenters Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley brought up the topic.
"I feel great. I have not drank for a while. I just wanted to feel a bit healthier and be healthier," he said.
"Obviously, eating habits are a lot better and training. Everyone is saying I am on this pen thing, but I am not, I just wanted to put that out there."
He added: "I actually am working hard to try and look better and be healthier."
One of the driving motivators behind Rooney's dramatic lifestyle change was to be more involved with his four sons, Kai, 16, Klay, 13, Kit, 10, and Cass, eight.

"When I stopped playing [football professionally], I got into a bit of a rut and was probably drinking a bit too much. Or I was not getting into a routine with training," he explained.
"Then I just thought, 'You know what? I want to enjoy my time with my kids whilst they’re at this age.' I have been more present and more there."
Turning the conversation to how these changes have helped Coleen, it was revealed that the iconic Scouser can now pitch in with everyday things now he's in a better place.

"[It's made a] massive difference," she shared. "I think because all my life I've planned everything with Wayne out of it and if he's there it's a bonus, whereas now as a family unit we can plan together.
"So whether it's a school run, a family holiday, we know what we're doing and it's just nice to share the load with someone else. And there's a lot of parents out there that do that anyway, but because of Wayne's job it was never like that."
This comes as Rooney is heavily linked to the upcoming series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, following in the footsteps of his other half who finished second two years ago.

An ITV insider told The Sun on Sunday: "Wayne is in advanced talks for I’m A Celebrity and if they secure him, he’ll be their biggest signing in the show’s history. ITV have been in negotiations with him for some time and are thrilled that they’ve reached this stage.
"Wayne wants to show their sons what their dad can do and has joked he’ll be giving Coleen a run for her money. He is really competitive and hates losing so will give I’m A Celebrity his all."
It's reported that the footy superstar could become a multi-million pound signing by flying over to the Australian jungle, which runs for around three weeks.
