Gemma Collins is one of the many celebrities who have spoken about their experiences with weight loss jabs.
She even opened up about experience while appearing on I’m A Celebrity South Africa as she told her campmates she’d been forced to stop using them.
“But my own personal experience, when you first take it, it’s absolutely life changing, you cannot believe how amazing it is,” Collins explained.
In just three months of using them, the 45-year-old went from a size 26 to a size 20 and lost 3.5 stone with the help of the injections.

And now she’s embracing her body confidence and encouraging others to do the same this bank holiday weekend as she shared a set of swimming costume-clad Instagram posts while sunning it up by a swimming pool.

Posing with a hand on her hip in the pool, Collins wrote: “Wear the swimsuit darlings …
“Your body is not here to apologise. It’s here to live, to swim, to laugh, to glow in the sunshine and take up every inch of joy it deserves. ✨
“Wear the swimsuit. Take the photo. Walk the beach. Dive in anyway.
“Confidence is not a dress size, it’s an energy. And the most beautiful thing anyone can wear is self love with zero permission NEEDED.”
And she doubled-down with her messaging with a new photo this afternoon (23 May), wearing a strapless pink swimming costume, perched on the edge of a sun lounger by the pool.
“LOVING THE SUN. Wishing you all a lovely bank holiday,” the GC wrote on Instagram.
“Get your body in the sun, let your soul exhale. Body confidence isn’t a size, it’s an energy. Own your glow, take up space, wear the swimsuit, dive in the pool, laugh louder, live softer.
“The sun was never asking for perfection… only presence.”

During her time on the All Stars edition of I’m A Celeb, Seann Walsh asked Collins about the jabs: “So what happens, you just stop being hungry?”
And the icon explained: “So for instance, when I was first on it, me and Rami went for a Turkish and in my whole life, if a bread basket went down, oh mate, there’s nothing like a bread basket.
“Do you know how weird it was for me to sit there, have the bread in front of me and not want it, can you imagine how bizarre that was for me? Cos normally I would want it.
“It was great, it was liberating, I had freedom. I didn’t want the bread, but that was in the very beginning.”
