Woman who is a virgin in her thirties reveals how people react to her never having had sexual intercourse

A woman who's in her thirties and has never been intimate with a partner has explained how people react when she tells them she's a virgin.

Over on TikTok, @sarahs.tok explained that she quite enjoys telling people she's never been intimate, due to the interesting reactions she receives - which usually fall into one of three categories.

Sarah took to her platform where she explained that she's currently in her late thirties and has never been intimate with a partner, and hasn't even had a 'proper kiss'.

"Now I'm in my late thirties and I've never been physically intimate, I've never so much as had a proper kiss... I want to talk about the reactions I get when I tell people," she said.

"I love telling people this fact about myself because the reactions are always funny, usually one of three things will happen."

Sarah explained that often, she will tell people who are 'genuinely shocked and curious', explaining: "These are the people who are fun to talk to because they're not judging in any way.

"The second reaction I get is that people are almost offended by it, it's so bizarre the reaction, it's funny to watch."

Sarah said there's a third type of reaction which is actually her favourite, where people are pretty much stunned to silence by her admission.

She explained that they're so surprised, they take on a 'blank stare' and look at her as though she's an 'alien'.

"The people who go full on blank stare and look at you as if you've morphed into a space alien, it's not computing, it's not processing, they are not grasping what is going on right now."

In the comments, people shared their own responses, with many TikTokers unfazed.

One person wrote: "You're not missing anything. I'm sincerely jealous of the lack of drama in your life."

While another said: "I already received such reactions when I was just like 20?!?? I had my first kiss and boyfriend at almost 25 but I still remember the gasps from before."

And a third added: "My girl looks way happier than some ppl I’ve seen in relationships."

Others shared their own experiences, with another writing: "I’m 42. You are not alone."

While another added: "Not everyone WANTS romantic and sexual relationships."

And a third added that they'd 'never been interested in anyone sexually or romantically', writing: "Turning 27 and same. I honestly can’t be bothered to change that. Never been interested in anyone sexually or romantically."
