A picture of Californian teenager Cody Mitschelin mowing a lawn was recently shared on Facebook. The significance? He wanted to take out his girlfriend, Audrey Fierro, out on a date but didn't have the funds for it, so had taken up the odd job to help him out.
Cody's ethic obviously charmed many people and the picture soon went viral. The restaurant they ended up at even gave them a complimentary meal, according to KCRA.

Ryan Cox, who posted the picture, ended up giving Cody more business, while he mowed lawns and swept pavements. After he was finished he'd racked up enough money to buy his girlfriend lunch with some disposable dough on the side.
The date occurred at Safari Pizza. "When I got in there and they sat me down, everybody went, 'Aww,' " Cody told the Star Telegram.
Audrey was obviously most touched by the gesture. "He's a keeper," she told KCRA.
