Insuring body parts is not uncommon in the world of celebs. Heidi Klum apparently insured her legs for $2million. Meanwhile, Daniel Craig's body is rumoured to be to be insured for $9.5million, and Keith Richards was said to have insured his hands for $1.6million.

For Hayleigh Curtis, who works in the Cadbury innovation team, creating tasty blends of chocolate is her life. For her, her taste is as important as J-Lo's arse, which is apparently insured for $27million.

Therefore, in one of the first policies of its kind, Curtis has had her taste buds priced at an incredible £1million by specialist insurers Lloyds of London, reports the Daily Mail.

However, if she was planning to make some false claim to get the big bucks, then she'll have to think again. That's because she has been given a list of terms and conditions, which includes banned activities and food for her taste buds to be protected. Sword swallowing, eating with notoriously poisonous fungu fish, vindaloo curries and munching on chili peppers are all forbidden.

"This is a really exciting day for me," said Curtis. "I've grown up with Cadbury and it has always played a really important role in my life, so it's great to be part of a team that sit at the global headquarters for chocolate invention."

It comes as Curtis' taste buds are essential for guaranteeing all new innovations meet the particularly high standards expected of Cadbury chocolate.

Jonathan Thomas, from Lloyd's, added: "Taste buds are as important to Cadbury as legs are to a top footballer and it seems like Hayleigh has been doing a great job creating new flavours with the team.

"We've insured some interesting assets over the years, and this certainly adds to the mix!

"The policy taken out with us on behalf of Cadbury demonstrates just how important innovation is to their brand and, after seeing what Hayleigh gets up to in Bournville, we're even more excited to see the new flavours on the horizon."

Apparently, it's all to do with science. Curtis, along with 300 other members of the innovation team, is responsible for the taste of Cadbury chocolate. If her taste buds were suddenly to be damaged beyond repair, I'm over here Cadbury and love chocolate!
