Touching Moment Between Holly Holm And Conor McGregor

Saturday night was a tough night for fans of favourites as first Holly Holm and then Conor McGregor were beaten at UFC 196 in Las Vegas. Holm lost her title to Miesha Tate whilst McGregor lost his undefeated streak in the company after submitting to Nate Diaz.

As is customary after a UFC card, the pair were at a post-fight press conference and were sat next to each other to talk about their losses that left them both gutted.

Holm had already been in the press conference for around eight minutes answering questions on her loss to Tate and listening to the victor when she was joined by the Notorious who sat by her. And the pair shared a touching moment of consolation together.

Holm McGregor

Having beaten Ronda Rousey to win the title at the end of 2015, Holm will know her chances of topping the bill straight away remain slim with the woman she beat lurking in the background and likely to get a shot at Tate's title.

After failing to take the step up to 170lbs, McGregor is likely to go back down to featherweight to defend his title and that could mean a rematch against Jose Aldo.
