Get well soon, lad.

On March 26, boxer Nick Blackwell suffered serious head injuries in his defeat to Chris Eubank Jr.

As everybody knows, he is lucky to be alive after suffering a bleed on the skull and being placed in an induced coma.

A week after the British middleweight fight, he was brought out of the coma and has paid his respects to all those who have supported him throughout the ordeal.

Blackwell has this morning also taken to Twitter for the first time since the knockout to thank his friends, family and supporters for everything they've done during this troubling time.

We're all just happy to see he's most definitely on the road to recovery. We hope to see him up and about as soon as possible!
