Baby Was Born With So Much Hair It Showed Up On Ultrasound Scan

She looks like a Rolling Stone.

In terms of appearance, you don't expect much from new born babies. In fact, they're pretty minging once they've come out of the womb.

Not all of them though. Holly Gent, for example, came out rocking a full head of hair and looking like the next bassist for the Rolling Stones.

The now four-month-old baby had so much hair, in fact, it showed up on an ultrasound.

Parents Ashley and Natasha Gent were told by doctors to expect 'a bit of hair' on young Holly's head after they noticed whisps on the ultrasound. They weren't expecting her to have Ronnie Wood's do, though.

"It hasn't stopped growing since the day she was born," Natasha said.

"Sometimes she has a blow-dry if her hair needs to dry quickly. She really enjoys it but sometimes she does try to eat the air.

"Her hair afterwards is so funny. It has grown straight upwards so after it's dried it looks like a little afro. It makes us laugh so much."

People are understandably taken aback by Holly's hair, and so Natasha's trips to the supermarket are never without some commenting on her baby's locks.

Natasha said: "It's nice as a mum to hear that, although sometimes I don't know what to say because there's only so many ways you can say thank you.

"Obviously to me, Holly will always be the most beautiful child but to get compliments from other people is so nice."

Holly's case is very similar to that of Junior Cox-Noon, who somehow managed to grow a huge head of hair that a lot of us could never dream of at just nine-months-old.

His mother, 32-year-old Chelsea, is in the same boat as Natasha, as she can't do her shopping quickly because it takes her two hours what with everyone wanting to say hello to him.

He's been nicknamed 'Baby Bear' by his older brothers because of his bouffant, and apparently came out of the womb with a full head of hair.

"All the midwives and health visitors said it would fall out because baby hair usually comes out when they rub their head on the back of the cot, but he hasn't lost any of it and it has grown," Chelsea said.

"People say to me are you going to cut it, but it's too unique so I'm going to leave it as it is."

According to Chelsea, Junior cries whenever she tries to put a hat on his head. I can't blame him, he's a bit of stubble and sideburns away from being an 80s heartthrob.

His mother is a former hairdresser, and she likes to blow dry his hair, which he doesn't seem entirely impressed with.
