This Dad's No Nonsense Response to Daughter's Boy Drama Is Just Too Good

This Dad's No Nonsense Response to Daughter's Boy Drama Is Just Too Good

He's got no time for all this teenage drama.

Anyone with a daughter or a sister will tell you that boy drama can be a nightmare and you have not got time for that shit. With a lot of crying, sad music and a whole host of chick flicks, I've always found staying completely clear of the situation is the best way to deal with it.

As a parent, this often isn't really an option, though. They have to be the shoulder to cry on and offer the words of encouragement about how much 'he doesn't deserve you' and that 'there are plenty of fish in the sea', or some sentimental, soppy equivalent.

This wasn't the case for Daleynee's dad. He clearly doesn't have time for the trials and tribulations of high school romances (do any of us really?).

Last week she was moping up in her room, no doubt Adele playing in the background while she was on the phone to a friend discussing how Mr Right may not have been so perfect after all. Her dad was fully aware of his daughter's emotional dilemma, and he made his feelings towards the fella in question very clear.

LAD LAD LAD LAD LAD LAD LAD!

Keeping it short, sweet and to the point, her dad seems like a sound guy. He rocketed to Internet fame as his daughter shared the image on Twitter and it quickly racked up 20,000 likes and 10,000 retweets - not too shabby.

This guy has joined a whole host of dads who've found superdad stardom at the expense of their daughters. Here's a few more...

James Breakwell

We covered this guy back in April. He is a dad of four young girls who has amassed a Twitter following of 300,000 people, all by retelling fantastic stories of his life as a father and the endless flow of fantastic questions that come from his curious girls about the complexities of adult life.

Chris Burr Martin

Better known as the most embarrassing dad in the UK, and a guy who just got tired of seeing his daughter's risqué Instagram posts and the even less safe for work comments being left by her male followers. He decided to bring attention to this by creating his own parody account, recreating her pictures in hilarious fashion.

His banter has earned him a following of 76K on Instagram, almost double that of his daughter. Luckily she found the funny side and they are regularly seen on each other's pages. Think of it as an unorthodox family activity.

John Tierney

This fella decided to cut off any chance of teen boy drama at the source. In a hilarious 40-second viral video, the dad of four-year-old Grace describes exactly what will happen if she ever gets a boyfriend and what he would do to the poor lad and his unsuspecting father. Good luck to any boy in the future who has to impress this chap.

Imagine the comic genius these lads could come up with as a group. Forget Robert Downey Junior and Chris Evans (actor, not Top Gear flop). These guys could be the Avengers of quality parenting and terrible dad jokes. Reckon the film would be better than the Age Of Ultron for sure!
