A woman whose daughter makes hundreds of thousands a month selling adult content has shared her brutally honest opinion on her child's profession
We've all wondered how the mums and dads of X-rated content creators feel about their kids joining OnlyFans, as announcing that at the family dinner table is sure to cause a stir.
Despite society becoming more sex-positive in recent years, sex work is still quite a taboo subject in a lot of households.
Porn star Riley Reid previously revealed that she was 'disowned' by her relatives after she launched her career, while Lily Phillips' parents said they'd 'sell their house' to get their daughter to stop her sex stunts.

But on the other hand, Bonnie Blue's family are in full support of her controversial choice of career - and her dad has gone as far as to say that he 'loves' what she does for a living.
From these case studies, it seems like there's no guarantee of what reception you're going to get from your family when revealing that you want to enter the adult industry.

A lot of parents often end up feeling quite conflicted, as although they're happy that their children are earning a decent living, the nature of their work can leave them in despair.
That's how the mother of OnlyFans star Molly Little feels, as she admitted: "I don’t think any parent would want this for their child."

Carol, a massage therapist, explained that a lot of their relatives have turned their backs on the 22-year-old since she started flogging risqué content online.
Molly swapped restaurant work for a strip club after turning 18, before later moving into porn and then launching her extremely profitable OnlyFans platform.
"At first, I was in shock, I didn’t know what to say," the 61-year-old, from the US state of Virginia, told Metro. "I judged myself thinking, 'Did I do something wrong?'
"I don’t think any parent would want this for their child...it’s not a choice parents even think of. I thought she’d be a scientist or a doctor. She’s really, really smart. I can want what I want for her, but it’s not up to me."
Molly now earns a whopping $200,000 a month on OnlyFans and has received extraordinary tips of up to $300,000 from her admirers.

Carol said she has since 'learned to look at [sex work] differently' and reckons people should be 'less judgey' about it.
"I’d built up a very different image of people in the industry," she continued. "But when I met other sex workers, I realised they’re just good normal people, they aren’t desperate.
"I know a lot of her friends have families who don’t approve and don’t speak to them, but I strongly feel that Molly is my daughter and God gave her to me, so I need to support her as best I can.
"The family knows, and a lot of them won’t speak to Molly anymore; others in the family do talk to her but don’t agree with her line of work. It’s sad because they’re the ones missing out - she’s a beautiful person."

The parents of Aussie Shore star Lily Jade are largely on the same page. Despite their inevitable reluctance to know the ins and outs of what she does, they said they are 'very supportive' of her choices.
The 23-year-old, from Melbourne, joined OnlyFans last year and claims to have made £73,000 in the first six months.
Her mum, Jen, and dad, Adam, weren't that surprised when she signed up to the adult website - as they 'always knew' she'd make a name for herself somehow.

"Lily always had in her mind she was going to be famous, no matter the avenue she went down to get there," her mum Jen said. "We always knew she’d do something in modelling or TV - anything on the internet to make herself known.

"If that’s what she wants to do, she’s happy to do it, and she’s self-sufficient, we’re very supportive."
She added that Lily's grandparents 'don't know' about her line of work, but 'some cousins do and they’re supportive'.
However, her dad said he'd excuse himself from the room if Lily began detailing exactly what she gets up to for punters online, saying it's 'her business'.
Although his daughter has his support, Adam explained he does draw the line somewhere, and that's hardcore porn.
"As long as she’s not going down the Bonnie Blue avenue - that’s disgusting," he went on. "I wouldn’t want Lily to go into hardcore porn, but OnlyFans is a subscription, and she doesn’t have to meet people."
He added: "I don’t know how we’re meant to have problems with her work, because then we just become unsupportive, horrible parents.
"It’s their life, and you’re only showing your own insecurities when you’re worried about what someone else is doing. My daughter is running her own life, and she’s doing a bloody good job at it too."
