Just like Eminem, ALDI’s colour changing gin is back by popular demand!

That’s right, ALDI is bringing back the beloved McQueen Forest Fruits Colour Changing Gin for just $49.99, which is included in ALDI’s Special Buys from Wednesday, April 13.

This delicious gin is made from all-natural flavours, including juniper, angelica, and cassia, with the fresh, fruity addition of raspberries, grapefruit and the petals of a butterfly pea flower.

I mean, does that not just sound absolutely whimsical?

Not to mention, when adding lemon, lime or tonic water, it turns from blue to pink, making it the ultimate party drink of choice if you really want to stun your guests.

But be sure to get in quick as this gin sells out as swiftly as it changes colour.

Managing director and co-founder of McQueen Gin Dale McQueen said the colour-changing drink brings a little ‘theatrically’ to your usual off duty drinks.

He said: "Not only does our new artisan gin taste great, but it also brings a little bit of theatre to gin o’clock.

“Add a squeeze of lime first and see what shade of pink the gin goes, then add the tonic and it will change again.”

Shortly after its release in 2018, one fan took to Twitter and wrote: “They're selling a colour-changing McQueen gin in aldi right now and am honestly doing everything in my power not to buy it.

While another fan commented: “It's still pretty though Aaaaaand forest fruits flavour.”

While another wrote: “I shopped at some independent grocers yesterday, and then I snuck into Aldi to get their last bottle of flavoured gin (not their regular gin, which is nasty) But the McQueen's colour changing gin is yummo!”

McQueen Forest Fruits Colour Changing Gin will be available in NSW, VIC, ACT, and WA selected ALDI stores.

However, due to licensing limitations, the colour-changing gin won't be available in QLD or SA ALDI stores.

As part of ALDI’s Special Buys, they will also bring back ‘cocktails in a cask’.

The VOK 2L casks come in two flavours - Pina Colada and Mojito, for just $19.99 each.
