Amber Heard Accused Of Editing Photos That Show Alleged Abuse From Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp's attorney has accused Amber Heard of editing photos of alleged abuse, which were captured back in May 2016.

Depp, 58, is currently suing ex-wife Heard, 35, in a $50 million (£38.2 million) defamation lawsuit over abuse claims she made in a 2018 article in The Washington Post, despite not mentioning Depp by name in the op-ed.

Lawyer Camille Vasquez is representing the Pirates of the Caribbean actor and today (17 May), she questioned the validity of the photos Heard took six years ago.

Vasquez claimed that the photos were edited, to which the ex-wife completely denied.

Vasquez said: "Isn't it true that you edited this photograph? That you enhanced one to make it look more red?" to which Heard replied: "No, that is not true."

Vasquez then added: "You sat in this courtroom while officer Zeins saw you, and testified that he didn't see any injuries on your face." 

Heard: "Officer said she didn't considered my red puffy face injured. That was her testimony in the UK."

In a back and forth exchange, Vasquez said: "That's just inconvenient for you, isn't is Ms. Heard. The other officer also said he saw no injuries on your face on May 21, 2016."

Heard replied: "They said they didn't consider what they saw on my face to be injuries," to which Vasquez then said: "I think we all saw, you identified yourself. And after you identified yourself, he looked at you and saw no injuries?"

Heard said: "No that is incorrect."

Vasquez responded: "You were also in this courtroom when Alejandro Romero testified that he saw no injuries on your face on May 21 2016, weren't you?" to which Heard again said: "No that's not what he said."

"You were also in this courtroom when James Franco said that he saw no injuries to your face on May 22, 2016?" Vasquez asked, which Heard again denied.

This comes after Heard admitted to failing to pay her pledged $7 million charity donation - money which came from her divorce settlement.

Yesterday, (16 May), Vasquez asked Heard: "Sitting here today, Ms. Heard you still haven't donated the $7 million divorce settlement to charity, isn't that right?"

The Aquaman star replied: "Incorrect. I pledged the entirety, $7 million to charity and I intend to fulfill...."

However, the lawyer cut into Heard's answer, saying: "Ms. Heard that wasn't my question. Please try to answer my question. As of today, you have not paid $3.5 million dollars of your own money to the ACLU?"

The actor admitted: "I have not."
