Bloke eating in McDonald's left completely baffled after seeing his own car pull up

He had literally just taken it for an inspection 10 minutes beforehand

A McDonald’s customer was left feeling completely baffled after clocking his own car pull-up at the restaurant.

He filmed the bizarre moment as it unfolded, and shared it on TikTok:

The footage was posted by TikToker Rique (@euqir78), who said: “When you take your car for an inspection. After a ten minute walk you find the mechanic at McDonald’s.”

In the video, Rique claims he had taken his car for an inspection, only to see the vehicle pull up at a nearby McDonald’s he went to.

“He is driving my car after I dropped it off to get inspected,” he says in a voiceover in the clip.

“And they drove my car to a McDonald’s.”

He adds: “What do I do?!”

He was shocked to see the mechanic show up in his car.

Within just one day, the video has gone viral after racking up 11 million views and 1.7 million likes, along with more than 46,000 comments.

One fellow social media user wrote: “The same thing happened to me. They said they were test driving it.”

Someone else said: “Well they usually drive the car to see if there’s any knocking in the engine or if it hesitates at acceleration he was smart to get food tho.”

Thankfully, Rique wasn't too angry.

A third joked: “I don’t mind if they drive my car to McDonald’s as long as they bring me something back.”

In a follow-up video, Rique said that, when he paid for the services, he found that they’d had to ‘change something’, so knew they had to drive the car around to check it.

“But they hadn’t even started to work on the car,” he said, explaining how he dropped the car off at 9.30am, and saw it in McDonald’s ‘10 minutes later’.

The video went viral on TikTok.

He also joked he could have hitched a ride there, seeing as he’d been to get food himself.

Rique later asked if it was normal for the mechanics to use clients’ cars for a food run.

“If it’s close to their lunch break, then they said yes,” he said.

“It was 9.30 in the morning, 10 minutes after I dropped it off.”

Rique continued: “I’m not upset about it, I’m not angry. I wish I could have gotten a ride.

“I did bring it up, they did have a little shock because they know that I saw them.

“And the mechanic guy came out and the lady told him.”
