A vital safety mechanism within one of Europe's largest legal brothels has been addressed by its manager.
Over on Instagram, Catherine De Noire opened the curtain - wink wink, nudge nudge - on her uber popular establishment, which places staff comfort above everything else in this shadowy industry.
De Noire's openness previously revealed that anywhere between 500 and 1,000 clients visit her brothel each and every day. The income must be off the scale.
What the place won't abide though, is anybody that makes her employees want to escape a situation.

With the inclusion of panic buttons, De Noire can enforce a 'strict protocol' known as the 'eight-second rule'.
"All rooms are equipped with panic buttons," she shared on her social media platform.

Although they're far from obvious in the intimate space, the presence of panic buttons is extremely important.
“Every worker knows exactly where the panic button is located in their room, and they are trained on how and when to use it," commented the manager.
"If a situation becomes uncomfortable, threatening or escalates into an emergency, the worker can press the button quickly and quietly. The panic button doesn't make any sound in the room itself, which is deliberate, so the client remains unaware that an alert has been triggered, preventing the situation from escalating further.
"However, the moment the button is pressed, a siren sounds in the security office and the room number is displayed immediately on our monitors."
When this happens, the brothel's security squad is able to respond swiftly.
"We operate under what we call the 'eight-second rule'. This means that, once the panic button is activated, security staff must reach the room within eight seconds. This isn't just a guideline, it's a strict protocol," she continued.
In order to meet this protocol, staff undergo 'regular drills' and 'scenario-based training' so they can move through the building as efficiently as possible.
When these alarms get triggered, a minimum of two security guards rush to the room within eight seconds, unlocking the door and assessing whatever situation they face to safely de-escalate it.
Managers like De Noire get called in for support and to handle any follow-up to ensure everyone's safety.
It's not all security on lockdown at her unnamed establishment, though.
Speaking exclusively to LADbible, De Noire spoke of a married man who enjoys harmlessly acting like a dog on the premises. Yep, not kidding!
"He's basically a dog, you know, he has his dog name. He just plays," she noted.
Explaining how he interacts with the sex worker he visits, the manager added: "She always tells him, like, sit down, lay down, there's your treat.
"She's allowed to have other customers during this time when he's there. He's just basically like running around in the room like a dog. Sometimes there's a customer and she's f**king him, and he's just staring there."
