The very first winners of Ant and Dec's new game-show, Limitless Win, have revealed just how they plan to spend their whopping £500,000 jackpot.

The way it works is, 'contestants answer questions in a bid to win as much money as they can, with no limit to the amount of money they can have in the pot'.

ITV say: "For each correct or near answer they'll progress in the competition, but if they get the answer over by just one, they could crash out of the competition and potentially lose thousands of already banked cash."

Husband and intensive care doctor Will and midwife Kathryn were able to answer a final nail-biting question correctly, with the risk of losing £100,000.

With just one lifeline remaining, the couple were asked: "July 2022 will mark how many years since Jeff Bezos founded Amazon?"

Thankfully Will had a brilliant way of knowing the answer - 28 - as he remembered that his sister was born in the same year in 1994, and this is what landed them the incredible £500,000 prize.

This morning (10 Jan), the pair appeared on Lorraine to discuss their win and how they plan on splashing the cash, or not.

ITV

Will said: “We’ve always given away 10 percent of our salary to charity, so this isn’t going to be any different.

“We’re going to give away at least £50,000 to charities close to our hearts - mental health charities, leukaemia research charities.

“After that we’ll take our family on holiday, buy that campervan we’ve always wanted and buy a house as well.”

Incredibly, the NHS couple say they aren't retiring and will continue to work on the frontline, as they have done during the pandemic.

Lorraine asked the couple how they found working with Ant and Dec on their new show.

Kathryn said: “It was unbelievable.

"We’ve never been in a studio, with all the lights and Ant and Dec. It was surreal.”

Will added: “They’re just like on TV - just the same.

"They were very kind to us beforehand. We got to meet them and break the nerves a little bit.”

To which the host replied: “Enjoy that money and you’ll enjoy giving some of it away as well - it’s a great thing.”
