The tragic death of a Brazilian social media influencer is being treated as suspicious by Dubai law enforcement.
26-year-old Kauana Bilhar fatally fell 27 floors from her apartment infront of girlfriend Barbara Abrantes, but a subsequent voice message recorded by the panicked latter has raised a few eyebrows.
According to O Globo, Barbara sent the recording to a friend shortly after the Kauana tragedy - both pleading for help and claiming her parents couldn't find out what happened.
Local police are now reviewing her words, as well as Barbara's witness statement, while the forensics team complete their own investigations.

Accidental death, suicide, homicide and femicide are all being considered in this case.
Brazil's Ministry of Foreign Affairs is monitoring what happens next and providing consular assistance to the deceased's heartbroken family.

Kauana's mother Darla Bilhar travelled to the United Arab Emirates as investigations unfold and to arrange for the transfer of her daughter's body back to her homeland.
In an emotional post uploaded to Instagram, Darla announced: "There are no words capable of expressing the magnitude of the longing you left behind.
"Today you are no longer by my side as I dreamed, but you will live forever within me. I love you infinitely, my girl. Until the day we can meet again."
The influencer boasted over 20,000 followers on Instagram and regularly fed them with luxury travel and designer products content.

In equally saddening news, 'looksmaxxing' star Connor Murphy lost his life in a Thailand lake this month.
Local Thai outlet The Bangkok Post reports that the Texas-born 32-year-old jumped into a lake at a housing estate in Samut Prakan province after becoming 'frenzied' when he arrived in a hired vehicle infront of an estate in Bang Phli district.
Connor allegedly Murphy legged it when police officers arrived at the estate, where he had reportedly been staying with his 22-year-old girlfriend.
He swam out before disappearing beneath the water. Rescue divers later searched for around 30 minutes, recovering his body 20 metres from the shore.
Fellow influencer 'Jon Skywalker Brannon' penned a tribute to Connor upon hearing of his death, which read: "I will always remember you as the young kid who came up in this industry at the same time as me; thrown into a toxic industry and into the unforgiving spotlight of social media with no guidance and no mentor.
“Only God knows the mental and emotional weight you carried throughout the years... the expectations and pressure placed on your shoulders by millions of people who only ever witnessed a facet of your life," it continued.
"What saddens me the most is that the world will probably never know who you truly were behind the persona. Rest in peace my brother. May angels guide you to a better place."
