Elon Musk was ‘furious’ when he found out his dad formed a relationship with and impregnated his own stepdaughter.
The Tesla founder, 52, had some very specific thoughts about his father - who was 70 at the time of having his first baby with 30-year-old Jana Bezuidenhout - a book has claimed.
The incident is said to have bulldozed the relationship between Musk and his dad, which reportedly showed signs of falling apart when Errol had been ‘uncomfortably attentive’ to Jana when she was still a teen.
Jana was four-years-old when Errol married her mother, Heide Bezuidenhout, with the couple splitting in 2010.

But in 2017, a year after 'reconnecting', Errol and Jana formed a romantic relationship and welcomed their first child, who was soon followed by their second.
In a 2018 interview with the Sunday Times, Errol said he and Jana began their relationship while he 'helped her get over a breakup'.
While the couple - who had a 41 year age gap - are no longer together, it's clear members of the family were shocked by the bizarre connection.
A biography on the X founder written by Walter Isaacson delves into this very matter, along with claims that Elon and Errol attempted to heal their rift in 2022.

Isaacson alleged: "Elon was getting concerned that Errol, who was 56, was becoming uncomfortably attentive to one of his stepdaughters, Jana, who was then 15.
"Elon became furious at his father for what he perceived to be inappropriate behaviour and he developed a deep sympathy for Errol's stepchildren."
But Errol defended his actions in an email sent to the tech billionaire confirming his second child with Jana on Father's Day in 2022, writing: "The only thing we are on Earth for is to reproduce. If I could have another child I would. I can't see any reason not to."
Errol was also portrayed as an erratic man in the biography, with Musk claiming that his dad had a Jekyll and Hyde-like personality, stating: "It was mental torture. He sure knew how to make anything terrible."
Musk grew up in South Africa and one time during his childhood, Errol sided with the child who hit the future billionaire.

Errol apparently said: “That boy had just lost his father to suicide and Elon called him stupid. How could I possibly blame that child?”
After arriving home from the hospital, Musk had to stand for an hour while his dad screamed at him telling he was an ‘idiot’ and ‘worthless’.
Errol, who was also an engineer, had a relationship with Musk’s mother, Maye Musk, which was ‘filled with drama’.
Earlier this week, Elon Musk had a third child with former partner Grimes according to a new biography.

Musk and Grimes were first romantically linked to one another back in May 2018.
The pair went on to welcome firstborn X Æ A-12 into the world in May 2020, and their second child came along in December 2021, named Exa Dark Sideræl Musk or as a nickname 'Y'.
The pair have since separated but it turns out they share a third child, whose existence has 'been kept private until now' - confirmed in the same biography.
Musk and Grimes' third child is reportedly called Techno Mechanicus.
