Elon Musk's father Errol has had two children with his former stepdaughter Jana Bezuidenhout, and the Tesla boss found this out in a bizarre way.
Bezuidenhout was four years old when her mother Heide married Errol Musk in the 1990s, with them splitting up in 2010.
Seven years later, Errol and Jana began a romantic relationship after 'reconnecting' and have had two children together.
The Tesla boss was apparently 'furious' with his father over the way he became 'uncomfortably attentive' to Jana, with his biography saying: "Elon was getting concerned that Errol, who was 56, was becoming uncomfortably attentive to one of his stepdaughters, Jana, who was then 15.

"Elon became furious at his father for what he perceived to be inappropriate behaviour and he developed a deep sympathy for Errol's stepchildren."
The biography also claims that Musk Jr was told that his father had welcomed a second child with Bezuidenhout via an email on Father's Day, 2022.
The book claims that Errol Musk sent his son a message telling him that in 2019 he'd had another child with the woman several decades his junior, saying: "The only thing we are on Earth for is to reproduce. If I could have another child I would. I can't see any reason not to."
Errol Musk has said that he doesn't consider Bezuidenhout to be his stepdaughter and claimed that she mostly grew up away from the family.

To say Elon Musk's relationship with his father has been strained would be an understatement. In 2017, he called Errol 'a terrible human being' and has spoken about how unpleasant things were between them.
He explained that after his parents divorced, all of the children lived with their mother and he felt sorry for his 'lonely' father, but learned 'what kind of person he was' after moving in with him.
The billionaire said he learned that moving in with Errol was 'not a good idea', and in his biography said that being around his father was 'mental torture' and 'sure knew how to make anything terrible'.
In one account, a younger Elon Musk was hit by another child, and his father sided with the other child, saying: "That boy had just lost his father to suicide and Elon called him stupid. How could I possibly blame that child?”

It was then claimed that Errol made his son stand for an hour while he was called 'worthless' and an 'idiot'.
