Elon Musk officially owns no homes after it has been reported he has sold his Silicon Valley estate for $30 million (£23 million).
The second richest man in the world sold his 16,000 square-foot mansion for $7.5 million (£5.7 million) less than the asking price of $37.5 million (£28.3 million), the Daily Mail has reported.
The 47-acre property south of San Francisco was his 'last remaining house' and it features seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a music room, grand ballroom, and a cocktail room.
The home had to be listed three times before finding a buyer.

According to one of the listings, "the dining room and music room can now be combined into one space with a hydraulic lift wall that disappears when needed."
Musk, 50, who's net worth is $151 billion (£114 billion) currently rents a home worth $50,000 (£37,790) in Boca Chica, Texas, near his Space Exploration Technologies Corp. Starbase rocket manufacturing plant.
After moving there last year, he tweeted: "My primary home is literally a ~$50k house in Boca Chica / Starbase that I rent from SpaceX.

"It's kinda awesome though."
The foldable property is made by a company called Boxabl, and the mini house is its Casita model.
The 20x20 units can be purchased on the company's website for $49,500 (£35,530) or as little as $250 (£180) per month and are potentially an option to solve the country's housing crisis.

The homes can be constructed in less than a day.
Last year, in a bit of a bizarre Twitter rant, he wrote: "I am selling almost all physical possessions.
"Will own no home."
Also on The Joe Rogan Experience last May, he added: "I think possessions kinda weigh you down.
"And they're kind of an attack vector. People say, 'Hey, billionaire, you got all this stuff.'

"Well, now I don't have the stuff — now what are you gonna do?"
More recently, the billionaire sparked a big debate on Twitter after saying that a law should be introduced blocking people from running for political office once they hit a certain age.
The billionaire tweeted: “Let's set an age limit after which you can't run for political office, perhaps a number just below 70."
And it seems as though others are onboard with the idea, one follower wrote: “If we have a minimum age limit, then we should most definitely have a maximum age limit.”

A third replied: "Absolutely, 100% agree! I have been saying the exact thing."
Someone else said: “Perhaps set it somewhere close to 50, I feel like people over that age are too disconnected to the current times, so they don't really understand the problems of our current society.”
