An adventurous chap who has tried a whopping 182 different drugs in his life has said there's one drug he will 'never' ever take.
You might think you know all there is to learn about drugs but there's one man who can surely say he's got a wider level of knowledge.
Despite taking so many drugs over his lifetime he's made it clear there's one he hasn't taken and never intends to.

In a recent appearance on the Happy Hour Podcast he explained which drug he was talking about and the reasons why it put him off so much.
Who is Dominic Milton Trott?
Dominic Milton Trott probably knows more about the effects of drugs than almost anyone else in the world and he has even recorded each of his experiences in his book, The Drug Users Bible.
In this tome he records the dosage of each drug, how he took them and the experience it gave him when he was on it.
He reckons that if you can't stop people from taking drugs then you ought to at least give people information that makes them less likely to hurt themselves.

Which drug won't he take?
While on the Happy Hour Podcast he talked about 'the only one I haven't tried', explaining that it was the dangerous drug fentanyl.
"When it first came out everyone was terrified of it and rightly so," Dominic told the podcast hosts about the drug as he wondered what advice he could give to people beyond outright telling them not to do drugs.
"How can I reflect that? What I don't say is 'don't do drugs', because I tell them the truth. If they want to do it, do it, but I can recommend, make it obvious that this is, you know, too f**king dangerous."
Why does he avoid it?
He explained that he saw a DEA presentation which included pictures of a fatal dose of heroin, carfentanil and fentanyl, showing that it takes minuscule amounts of fentanyl to kill a person.

Dominic said that 'no matter what, you are never gonna be able to measure this tiny amount of this stuff accurately', and said that was why he would never try it.
He's tried 182 drugs in his life but he was adamant that he would not go near fentanyl.
Trott said his reason to avoid fentanyl was over doubt in his ability to 'break down this sugar granule, less than that, into a bit' he could actually take without killing him.
The man warned that people were 'mixing' fentanyl with other drugs, and that 'if you make something illegal a chemist will make a stronger version'.

What harm does fentanyl do?
For an adult of average size, it can take as little as two milligrams of fentanyl to be lethal. Back in 2022 when police in the US seized around 9kg of fentanyl it was estimated that there would be enough in the confiscated stash to kill about 4.7 million people.

Given Trott's aims of educating people about taking drugs safely and giving people the information that could save their lives it's little surprise that his approach to fentanyl is to steer well clear.
