A man who jumped off the 11th deck of a Royal Caribbean cruise ship shared the impact that it had on his body.
Plenty of crazy things happen on cruise ships, particularly when there are upside down pineapples involved, but it's pretty much a standard rule for all forms of travel not to jump off.
Naturally, people think that jumping from a cruise ship would be far less dangerous than doing it from a plane, but they often say that hitting the water is similar to hitting concrete if you do it from too high up.
So, when Nick Naydev decided to try and gain himself some social media clout by launching himself from the 11th deck of the Symphony of the Seas in 2019, he was fortunate that he wasn't killed.

He thought it was a good idea after a heavy night of drinking, which is famously when the worst ideas come about, with Royal Caribbean even contemplating legal action after videos of his jump went viral and calling it 'stupid and reckless behaviour'.
Medical experts suggest that falls from seven stories or higher have a 90 percent chance of death, but Naydev somehow managed to avoid any severe injuries.
He told Good Morning America: "Six or seven hours after I was in quite a bit of pain and it took about three days for that pain to go away.
"I realise how dangerous this is, the height is pretty high and at that height, the water is almost like cement. I would never do this again."
In an interview with Inside Edition, the then 27-year-old suggested that while he didn't realise it was as high as it actually was, he was fortunate to escape without any serious harm.
He said: "I remember hitting the water, impact was pretty big 'cause it was pretty high up. It impacted my tailbone and my neck pretty hard, luckily it wasn't anything serious.
"Nothing was really going through my mind. I'm like, 'I gotta do this,' and just two seconds later, I just jumped and didn't really think it through."
Naydev added: "The previous night we were drinking quite a bit so I was still feeling the effects of the alcohol."
He also admitted that he doesn’t want others to follow his own story, firmly stating: "I hope I don't inspire anybody to do this because it is very dangerous, I mean they'll think this is a joke."
It wasn't just Naydev's body that was impacted, as he and his friends were handed a lifetime ban by Royal Caribbean, which at least meant that he would never have the chance to repeat his rather idiotic trick.
