A woman who has lost more than three stone while taking Mounjaro has revealed how using the GLP-1 medication has 'ruined' her.
TikTok user Sara Jane, who posts from the handle @thatsarajane, regularly shares updates on her experiences taking the weight loss injections, which are now available on prescription on the NHS for those who meet the criteria.
A number of GLP-1 injection side effects have been reported in recent months, including hair loss, nausea and in limited cases, pancreatitis.

However, the 31-year-old from Southampton has been opening up about some of the more surprising outcomes relating to her weight loss, including one that leaves her 'disgusted.'
Addressing her 18,000 followers, Sara-Jane revealed she had once again become subject to the male gaze since losing weight, and she's not happy about it.
"Much to my disgust, I'm back on the male radar again," she joked. "Don't hold a door for me, don't smile at me, don't even breathe in my direction. I did not this all to become visible again to your breed."
The content creator continued: "I will gain it all back, out of spite, just to sumo roll you all into traffic, leave me alone."

As well as finding herself at the centre of male attention again, Sara-Jane revealed that unsolicited comments she had received were among the worst things about taking Mounjaro.

"I assumed people said their most wild comments to talk about you behind your back, turns out no not true, they say them to your face," she said.
"Sorry Sue, I didn't actually ask about the lady in Take A Break magazine who jabbed herself in the toe and then had multiple organ failure."
Sara-Jane went on to say: "Adding 'I'm sure you'll be fine though,' doesn't make you any less of a w***er, but you carry on with the diet club my love and keep losing and gaining that same 5lbs you've been losing and gaining for the last 10 years."

The TikToker has also found herself struggling to know what to wear and claims she's experiencing a clothing identity crisis since starting on the jabs in March of this year.
While Sara-Jane's comments are, of course, made in jest, its reported more than 500,000 people in the UK are currently using GLP-1 injections, including Mounjaro, Ozempic and Wegovy.
The medications help users lose weight by mimicking GLP-1 hormones to reduce appetite and slow down the time it takes for your stomach to empty, leaving users feeling fuller for longer.
