Woman from 'inappropriate' on-stage Chris Brown video responds to incident that 'went too far'

Social media users had already been left stunned by a sensual on-stage performance involving Chris Brown's and a fan at a concert over the weekend.

The explicit dance, which saw the 'Loyal' singer repeatedly grinding on a woman who he shamelessly bound to a pole was dubbed 'inappropriate' following the interaction during his tour with Usher.

But now the woman at the centre of it all has been identified and has indirectly spoken out for the first time in a video on TikTok with a cryptic message to well and truly cash in on her 15 minutes of fame.

Following his recent guilty plea, singer is currently on tour with Usher, with both RnB singers finding themselves in the media limelight for their actions on stage.

At their performance at the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, New York, on Saturday (1 August), Brown had first invited the fan from the crowd to cavort with him during a song. In footage posted online, the woman was seen being tied to a pole as Brown then licked the sweat off her arm and made pelvic thrust movements towards her.

The US singer then kissed her neck while the audience excitedly cheered them both on, though some music fans online complained that the concert had devolved into 'soft porn'. But alas, it didn't stop there.

Another short, and somehow even more graphic clip, then showed the woman being untied from the pole and led to an onstage bed. Brown joins her and advances on her before removing his hat, pinning her legs back as she lies down. The hit-maker then appears to lick his way up the woman, before making more thrusting movements.

People on X called for the concert to have an 21 and over age limit implemented, commenting that the intimate romp 'went too far' and called it 'inappropriate' and 'vile'.

However this is no longer a surprising part of the show, with Brown and Usher making sure they've got someone on the stage with them to 'perform' with during the gig.

Woman in video posts cryptic TikTok

The woman in the latest clip with Chris Brown has been identified online as Kareema Divine. Her TikTok profile says she is a dancer, artist and content creator.

On Monday, days after the on-stage moment, she shared a video appearing to be wearing the same black outfit as the woman in the dancing clip with Brown along with the caption 'a time was had baybee'. It showed her also posing and miming the lyrics to a song at what appeared to be the concert.

In a new cryptic message, Divine appears to have indirectly responded to the online backlash, with a short video captioned: "To the haters and the rumours >>>". The audio is heard to say repeatedly "I can do what I want".

But other users in the comments were quick to praise her, as one person wrote: "Well deserved 15mins if you ask me you ate! actually, he did." Another commented: "Tell em girl …..I love this for you" followed by: "Keep doing you girl. Haters gonna hate."

Another of Divine's posts includes a number of her selfies taken in the outfit she appeared to be wearing to the concert, captioned simply 'R&B tour', so there is very little doubt that she is in fact the very woman at the centre of the social media storm.

Usher also hasn't gotten off lightly. During the tour, the US singer has also caught plenty of attention over his on-stage antics. Last week, he took a swipe at fan Gabrielle Cheyenne who went viral for her on-stage reaction during their performance in Nashville on 25 July.

The 47-year-old danced topless with the Tennessee concertgoer, who didn’t seem to be enjoying his performance. Eagle-eyed fans captured her less-than-impressed response and was rapidly shared across social media.

Gabrielle initially gave her side of the story, revealing to TMZ that she hadn’t been given any instructions on what was about to happen. "You also don't know who you're going on stage for or with," she explained.

“Me, solely, I went to the concert for Chris Brown. It’s nothing against Usher or anything like that but I’m more of a Chris Brown fan than I am of Usher. So of course, it would have been a different reaction with Chris Brown."

Afterwards, Usher decided to add a verbal disclaimer at the first Birmingham stop of the tour. "Before we get started, don't bring your a** up here if you don't wanna be here," he told the packed-out crowd, according to a clip posted online.
