You know what they say about big hands.... (You can fill in the rest.)
Except, it turns out there's a whole other body part you should be looking at instead if you want to try and figure out just what's going on below the belt.
One doctor has dispelled a commonly held myth around parts of the body being linked to penis size.
Dr Jen Caudle has posted an explainer video on YouTube that goes into detail about whether you can truly tell how, er, blessed someone is in the trouser department without actually laying eyes on it.

Rumours can spread quickly, and many medical professionals like to put them right so that people know more about their bodies and exactly what is going on.
While it can seem humorous, there can be a lot of stigma surrounding penis size, and Dr Jen wants to educate people about their anatomy.

What is the popular myth?
Dr Jen revealed many people believe that there's a correlation between the size of hands and feet and penis size.

"Can you look at a man's hands and feet to determine penis size? Popular culture would have us believing we can just go around looking at people's hands and feet" the bemused doctor said.
"It does not work like that!" she insisted.
However, there is another body part that can be linked to the proportions of an intimate area.
"I'm here to tell you about a study done in the last few years that suggests that another body part might just correlate closely with penis size," said Dr Jen. "This is a study that was done between 2015 and 2019, with 126 male forensic autopsy cases."

"This was a study done in Japan using cadavers between the ages of 30 to 50, researchers looked at a number of things like their height, their weight," So far, so normal.
But it turns out they also examined the penile length when both stretched and flaccid, as well as the circumference.
They also examined the weight of their testicles.
"You heard me right!" joked the doctor. "This study - believe it or not - is the first study to demonstrate a relationship between stretched penile length and.... what do you think I'm going to say?" she said, building suspense.
"...Nose size!"

Yes, it turns out the size of your hooter can predict the size of something else.

How does nose size predict penis length?
It's definitely one of the weirder discoveries, but Dr Jen went into more detail about the correlation between the two body parts.
"This study found that the size of the nose of these cadavers correlated with the stretched penile length of the cadavers, meaning the larger the nose, the longer the stretched penile length," she explained.

Bet you didn't think you'd read those words today, did you?
"This study suggests that penile length might just be correlated with the nose size. I think this is such an interesting study!" praised Dr Jen.
The doctor advised before you start examining everyone's noses though, there are a few key things to remember.
"Bear in mind this study was done on a small number of cadavers in a very specific population of Japanese men, a specific age, so there are limitations to this study, but I think it's fascinating and something that we probably should keep our eye on for now."
The more you know, eh?
