Simulation shows how penis filler is injected as urologist explains benefits of procedure that's 'on the rise'

As much as people bang on about ‘size not being everything’, it still seems to matter a lot to some.

Studies have even shown that women aren’t necessarily overly fussed on what a man is packing. But still, there are people longing for more as they seek out ways to increase their girth.

So, enter the world of penis filler. A procedure said to be on the rise itself, with recent findings laying out a 60 percent increase in 18 to 24-year-olds getting penis girth procedures and 39 percent of Millennials showing an increase in interest too.

Typically lasting less than a year, the procedure places filler injections to enhance the girth, symmetry and general appearance.

And while a simulation shows how this may play out, a US-based urologist decided to get one done for himself to see what the benefits were like.

Dr John Peck hears regularly from patients about concerns regarding their penis size and decided to volunteer himself to try out the procedure before he could recommend it.

“My penis size was not a big issue, no pun intended,” he told the Daily Mail. “But I know for a lot of men, it is.”

He went for the Diamond XL 360, developed by Dr Stuart Diamond in the US, to preserve natural shape while increasing size.

Peck opted for a temporary filler designed to last roughly four months before then upgrading to a longer-lasting filler expected to remain effective for between two and five years.

It uses local anaesthetic as the filler is injected into as many as 40 separate points along the penis.

How does penis filler actually work?

A TikTok video shows what a generic procedure using hyaluronic acid looks like. This is not only injected into the shaft, but the head itself and even the scrotum if the customer desires, with the non-surgical set 'to enlarge the penis’ circumference'.

Calcium hydroxylapatite and poly-l-lactic acid fillers are also options for those looking to experience longer effects, as these alternatives can last anywhere from 24 to 36 months.

The simulation shows that as much filler is injected 'as safely possible', with a focus on doing the operation 'aesthetically' and keeping the penis symmetrical.

And afterwards, the patient must keep their manhood in a post-op wrap for 21 days.

'It's like having a new toy'

After undergoing his procedure, Dr Peck said it was ‘absolutely’ worth it as he was ‘impressed’ by the ‘noticeable difference’.

“It does have a different feel to it too – heavier,” he explained. “The orgasms are the same, but there is, I don't know, something in the sensation, perhaps due to better contact.

“I do feel that my partner can tell a difference and has perhaps improved her sexual experience as well.”

Despite experiencing some bruising and swelling for a couple of weeks, the urologist said he had a boost in confidence and tells people that it’s ‘like having a new toy’.

“For guys that are looking at this, if you get out of the swimming pool or the shower and things are shrivelled, playing turtle… that does not happen anymore,” he added.

Ending with his advice, Dr Peck said to ‘make sure you're doing this for yourself and not for somebody else’.
